About StopAiFraud Foundation

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit public safety initiative delivering AI fraud prevention education to seniors, families, and communities.

Our Mission

StopAiFraud Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public safety organization dedicated to educating communities about AI-powered fraud. As artificial intelligence becomes more sophisticated, criminals are using deepfakes, voice clones, and AI-generated content to deceive and manipulate the public.

We believe that education and awareness are the strongest defenses against these evolving threats. Our mission is to serve as a trusted, accessible resource providing educational materials, awareness campaigns, and practical guidance to help individuals, families, organizations, and institutions recognize and prevent AI-enabled fraud.

Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status has been approved by the IRS.

Founder Story

For more than 13 years I have worked as a public transit bus operator in Rochester, New York. During that time I've had thousands of conversations with passengers from every walk of life.

Over the past few years, as I drove my route, I kept hearing troubling stories. Someone lost $500. Someone else lost $1,000. People were losing their entire Social Security check. Scammers were stealing life savings using increasingly sophisticated tactics powered by artificial intelligence.

These weren't careless people. They were hardworking members of our community who were suddenly being targeted by technology that is advancing faster than most people realize.

Then the problem hit home.

My own sister received a phone call from someone pretending to be her bank. The caller sounded professional and had personal information that made the call seem legitimate. They convinced her that her account was in danger and that she needed to move her money to protect it.

She lost $1,800.

That realization made one thing very clear:

Communities need education BEFORE the scam happens.

That's why I founded StopAiFraud Foundation — to bring practical, calm, and empowerment-focused fraud prevention training directly to the people who need it most.
